New selection of interactive maps from across the Internet

We’re back with another compilation of interactive maps, published recently throughout the Internet. As usual, we also leave a couple of suggestions for cartography fans, just in case you want some extra-reads besides the hours of exploration we offer you within this post.

This time, we recommend an interview with Anthony Robinson, a geographer at Penn State who will be giving the world’s first digital-mapping MOOC (massive open online course), starting today. The interview was published on Wired’s new MapLab blog, that we mention here last week.

The second recommendation goes to a quite useful brand new web-app made by Keir Clarke, of Google Maps Mania. It’s a simple searchable app of 100 of the Maps of the Week that have been featured on the blog this year, allowing us to filter by the maps API used and by the map subject. A must, if you’re looking for some amazing examples of Digital Cartography – like the ones we brought today:
