Vintage Infodesign [36]

A trip to data visualization memory lane

Time to start another week, and for us here on Visual Loop that means vintage information design! Our selection begins with a set of beautiful botanical illustrations dated back to 1805, showing the color structure of Swedish lichens. They were made by Johan Peter Westring, and can be found in The Hagströmer Medico-Historical Library website.

The first images come from the pages of that book, Svenska Lafvarnas Färghistoria, followed by our usual assorted mix of vintage visual goodies.

Hope you enjoy!
