A young rising star in Mexico's editorial scene

Here we are with one more featured infographic designer from México, this time to present you the work of Gibrán Meza, currently the Graphic Editor at the Noroeste newspaper.

Born in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, in 1987, Gibrán studied Graphic design at the Institute of Superior Studies of Sinaloa. Started working at ‘Noroeste’, a local newspaper in 2009, and was recently promoted to Graphic Editor, earlier this year, where he’s in charge of supervising the Hard News sections, designing the A1 covers and the supplement ‘Palestra’.

Among his achievements, there’s an Award of Excellence, granted by The Society of News Design (SND) on it’s 31st edition, in 2010, for his work: ‘Influenza, regresa con el frío’.
