Another inspiring selection of recent interactive maps

January 29, 2014  |  CATEGORIES: Featured, News

Today’s opening pick goes to Tableau’s visualization of Data Blogs across the globe, an initiative that is part of the company’s Data Viz Blogging month. We’ve talked about this in previous editions of Data Viz News, and in case you haven’t been following the posts on Tableau’s Blog, you should definitively check it out. Lots of nice tips from folks that have been blogging for quite some time, as well as from those who have just started recently.

Among our picks, also worth mentioning is the 2014 Big Mac Index, from The Economist, and the impressive journalistic effort by The Center for Public Integrity and The International Consortium of Investigative Journalism, exploring stories from more than 60 countries in an interactive map that illustrates the breadth of the investigation of nearly 22,000 tax haven clients from Hong Kong and mainland China.
