The work of Valentin Perez

The career and work of another editorial designer from Mexico

January 26, 2014

We go back to Mexico for this edition of Portfolio of the Week, to present you the work of Valentin Perez. He shared a bit of his history and recent editorial works with us.

“I was born in Puebla in 1977, studied a degree in Computer Science, until 2004, when the passion for graphic design was born and the love for editorial publications lead me to join the newspaper El Mañana in Nuevo Laredo. It was there that I grew up in the world of journalism, first as a designer, and later a graphic editor of Hard News and special supplements.

I was responsible for the redesign of the morning newspaper La Tarde, as well as the website of the journal. I am currently in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, laboring for Dalai, Publishing Solutions as coordinator in digital art and design publications and editorials.”
