90 Tumblrs

After we explained why we’re no longer active on Tumblr (if you didn’t read the post, please do), we decided it would be interesting to pull together a list with some of the information design/data visualization blogs that use that platform, and are worth keeping an eye for.

This list grew a lot in the past year or so. It looks like Tumblr is becoming more and more popular in the data visualization community, and the task of gathering 90 of these blogs revealed itself to be a bit more challenging that we expected. News outlets are using it, designers created their portfolios on it, and of course, lots of curating blogs on topics that range from data journalism to vintage visual goodies.

Many will be familiar to you, others not so, and on a more personal note: they should all pay attention to what happened to us, and take proper care of their content.

So, without further ado, here are the top 90 Tumblr blogs we recommend, in alphabetical order:

Surely there are many others out there, so feel free to let us know in the comments, and we’ll add them to the list.
