November 22, 2012

Another great news for those involved wit infographic design and data visualization in the Middle East and North Africa regions. Google announced the “Arabic Web Days” program, an initiative to promote the production of more Internet content in Arabic, and one of the promotional actions will be an infographic competition, in partnership with Tajseed.

Besides the competition, Google is also promoting a series of Hangouts on Google+ to get tips and tricks from industry experts on contributing Arabic content to the web, a YouTube Tweet Up in Doha, Qatar on December 15 to learn how to create viral Arabic videos and make money through YouTube, and launched a new blog and a YouTube Channel in Arabic, from where we took the following  short video:

The National Arabic Web Day will be celebrated on December 12th. To get more details and to sign up for any of the events, visit Arabic Web Days on Google+ or see the Arabia Blog.
