World Book Day: a couple of exclusive infographics

The press revolution and publishing in the digital age, two suggested infographics for today's celebration of world literature

April 23, 2013  |  CATEGORIES: Featured, News

Today, the world celebrates literature. It’s been now 17 years since the United Nations institutionalized the 23 of April as the World Book Day, honoring some of the world’s most important names in literature that were born, or died, in this day. Josep Pla, Maurice Druon, Vladimir Nabokov, William Shakespeare and Miguel Cervantes are just some of those figures, and in celebration of this day, we decided to ‘revive’ two infographics that we published back in 2011, when we were only on Tumblr.

Designed by Brazilian infographic expert Flávia Marinho, these two graphics made their way into the Internet, being featured on sites such as The Next Web, PSFK, Notcot, among others.

Hope you enjoy them, in case you haven’t seen it before!
