Overwhelming infographics from the top publishers in the world

July 4, 2013

It’s not often that we use this space to talk other blogs and sites, besides the ones where we find our weekly infographic picks. Sure, you should all follow Chartnsthing, Nicolas Rapp, Charles Apple and Post Graphics. Keeping up with the updates on some of the top Flickr Groups for infographics is also a good way, not to mention NewsPageDesigner.org, the Ning social network created by Tim Frank, with whom we had the pleasure to talk a few months ago.

But the work being done consistently by Saúl Castillo (@saulcastillo) in his Tumblr blog (incosolata) is worth mentioning, especially because we believe many of you might not be familiar with it.

It’s written in Spanish, so you might want to keep Google Translate in hand if you don’t understand the language. But the quality of the works Saúl posts are definitively worth the effort. You’ll find top quality infographics published in newspapers from Spain and other countries in Europe, as well as some Latin American ones. Amazing work, always recent, that we’ve been sharing here for the past weeks.

Our selection today begins with some of the infographics about the Tour of France, that Saul featured in a recent post for the sports website El Contragolpe. He started a regular column there, so we can expect a lot of quality material in that space. Congratulations to Saul for his work curating infographics.

We leave you now with this week’s selection:
