Ever got that feeling, when looking at an online map, that it’s just not that reliable? If only we could compare with other sources, right? Well, Map Compare it’s one nifty tool that shows you different maps from OpenStreetMap and Google side by side.
It’s all quite intuitive and similar to all the online maps, when it comes to navigate, zoom, keyboard shortcuts, etc. To set up the maps, just use the drop down menus and choose the map type. There are currently 52 maps available and several overlays that can be applied to the maps.
After setting up all the maps, you can grab the ‘permalink’ to go back to it later or even to share it.
