Try the Made in World Digital Map

Project aims to bring closer together both sides of the tech business landscape.

September 22, 2012

Even if the world’s economic situation is far from being great, there’s an increasing number of entrepreneurs who are looking to make their way in to business by their own. On the other hand, a lot of people are seeking to put some money in ideas and projects that have a real possibility of becoming a profitable investment in this’s Digital Age. So, based on the concept originally developed by the City of New York and developed byMike Bodge, a team of digital entrepreneurs launched the Made in World Digital Map, in order to bring closer together both sides of the tech business landscape.

The project was developed by Matteo Sarzana, Filippo Sarzana, Eros Verderio, Michele Sarzana, Paolo Privitera, Michele Zuccala, Allysson Lucca and Sara Cifani.

From the site:

After several discussions we listened to about the world economic situation we felt it was about time to do something rather than sitting and waiting for the worst to come. This is a non-profit project targeting people with different skills and companies from start-ups to established business.

Once you selected the country from the home page, you’ll see the map with the companies, investors andf coworking / Incubator Spaces.  The numbers inside the  colored circles represent the total of companies in that region, and once you are zoomed in, click on the colored circle icon to view a full list of companies at that location and details about each one.
