It’s possible that many of you are anxious to see how ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’ will be, compared to The Lord of The Rings movie trilogy. But we’re not here to talk about the J.R.R. Tolkien‘s adaptation to the big screen. Instead, we leave you with the work made by Soledad Penadés, breaking down the words used in Tolkien’s books.
The starting point of this visual exploration was a review of ‘The Silmarillion‘, stating that the book was too hard to read because of the incidence of the word ‘and’. Comparing it with Tolkien’s other two books, The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings, she produced several visualizations trying to find if that assumption was correct.
