When the graphics team of one of the most awarded newspapers in Europe, in terms of editorial and overall design, updates their blog dedicated to infographics, we inevitably have to give it some exposure in this space where visual journalism rules. That’s the case with the Portuguese daily “i“, elected the best designed newspaper in the world in 2011, just two years after it was launched.
The person behind for the “i Infografia” blog is Carlos Monteiro. We had the opportunity of featuring Carlos’ work in the Portfolio of the Week section, some time ago, so of the following pieces amuse you, wait until you see all the works the head of “i” infographics team shared with us back then.
Also, earlier this week, another good friend of us, respected infographic designer Chiqui Esteban showed us what he and his team at The Boston Globe have been up to, since we last talked with him, in this interview. And to close the subject pof visual journalism, this week’s Portfolio comes from Brazil, and belongs to Gustavo Pereira, one of the memebers of the award-winning graphics team of Folha de S. Paulo.
So, as usually happens, a lot to digest, so, sit back, and enjoy this week’s list with 30+ infographics:
