The Environment visualized in 2014

Climate change, water scarcity, deforestation and other major issues visualized

One of the characteristics of most of our round ups is that they are usually cross-disciplinary and extremely diverse in topics depicted with visualizations and infographics. That has also been the case with the posts featuring our favorite pieces of content published in 2014 – in case you missed them, here are the ones we published so far:

Obviously, when we start considering other attributes such as the importance of the topic being covered by a certain visualization, this type of post looses a lot of its usefulness, which is why we decided to do something extra this year. Besides the round ups with interactive maps and infographics, we’ll dedicate two special posts with the projects tackling Environmental issues – such as climate change, water scarcity and deforestation – , and Public Health issues, in a year that saw the Ebola virus spread throughout Western Africa and beyond.
