It’s almost time to finally meet the winners of the ultimate entertainment awards. The 85th Annual Academy Awards will be held tomorrow (24/02), and the competition seems to be between two movies: ‘Lincoln’ leads with 12 nominations, while ‘Life of Pi’ grabbed 11, but there’s always room for last minute surprises, right?
We collected a few interactive visualizations, all of them produced recently, that breakdown all the aspects surrounding the event, including some interesting timelines and the usual ballots, promoted by news and entertainment websites. If want to browse through more infographics, our Pinterest board is also up and running, including works produced for previous editions of the event.
Just to help passing the time until the ceremony begins
