Digital Cartography [101]

More interactive maps used by newsrooms and other online publishers

June 10, 2015

Every now and then we try to recommend to you other blogs that cover all-things cartography related, and today we have a classic among the mapping/blogging scene. Supported by IDV Slutions – a software-provider company that “helps organizations take command of operational risk”, John Nelson‘s UX Blog regularly features tips, tutorials and, of course, lots of maps. In fact, it’s almost impossible that you haven’t seen some of John’s amazing creations featured in top websites, throughout these past years.

We open this edition of Digital Cartography with a couple recent maps Jon shared on the blog, and before we start we’d also like to mention our first featured data visualization agency, Kiln.it, beginning a brand new series of articles here on Visualoop. Lots of cartographic gems in there as well.

Enjoy the exploring!
