A couple of months ago, we featured the work of Daniel Martinez, the talented mexican illustrator that is helping the graphic desk of La Razón del Mexico to become one of the most prolific infographic producers in the country’s news landscape.
It’s difficult to see a week go by without featuring one or more infographics produced by this team, in our weekly column dedicated to Visual Journalism, and today we are very happy to present the work of another designer that has his hand in many of those pieces: Alfredo Peralta.
Born on January 14, 1987, in Mexico City, Alfredo is a graphic design graduate of the Cuautitlan Izcalli University. His first contact with infographics was through the internet, where he could explore – and be amazed – with works by Jaime Serra, Fernando Baptista, Alberto Lucas, among others.
He later joined the infographic team of the newspaper La Razon of Mexico, where he has the opportunity to develop his skillset in many different areas, thanks to the work of his colleagues and their contributions. The team, besides Alfredo and Daniel, also includes Francisco Lagos and Victor Nieto.
The quality of the department has been recognized in major awards, including an Award of Excellence by the SND, a bronze medal in silver Malofiej 22 and mentions by a! design.
