Portfolio of the Week - Maria Karpatseli

Infographic showcase from one of Greece's top newspapers

Born in Munich, Germany, but living in Greece since a very early age, our featured infographic designer of this week is Maria Karpatseli, who has been designing infographics in newsrooms for almost 25 years.

At the age of 12, she and her family left Germany and went back to her parents’ homeland in Greece, in the city of Nafplion. Maria studied Graphic Arts and Graphic Design in the TEI of Athens at School of Graphic Arts and Art Studies, and since 1991 she’s been living and working in Athens, as an infographics designer for major newspapers such as e-typos and Real News, where she currently works. She has also taught in the course of Electronic Graphic Design at Public Educational Schools (IEK) of Heliopolis and Glyfada.
